Neetu Chandra is busy dubbing for her three forthcoming ventures- Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, Kusarprasad Ka Bhoot and The films are Flat No. 13 B. Coincidently the dubbings are being recorded in the same studio almost simultaneously thus much of her time being spent in the same studio. Fans of Neetu Chandra have a lot to look forward to and so the coming weeks are quite exciting for Neetu herself.
If Minissha’s director Sanjay Gadhvi is to be believed, the gal is set to make her admirers drool over after watching her in ‘Kidnap’ all thanks to her gorgeous makeover owing to her newly found chiselled features and fab abs! The movie has Minissha play a sassy, chic today’s girl in the film and for the look she has worked hard to loose the excess weight. She has survived on low carb bland food for six months to get that perfect shape.
Though Minissha has previously done some steamy scenes with Arshad Warsi in Anthony Kaun Hai , the actress slips into a two-piece bikini for the first time in Sanjay Gadhvi’s ‘Kidnap’. Gandhvi has always managed to get his leading ladies shed their clothes in his films, be it Esha Deol , Bipasha Basu and even the usually prim-and-propah Aishwarya Rai shed their clothes in films like ‘Dhoom’ and ‘Dhoom 2’.
Gadhvi reportedly told Minissha at the very start of the film that she would have to don a bikini – and that too a white one – for a few sequences in the film. Minissha’s stylist, Shilpa Bhatia, scoured the market and managed to find a sexy bikini for the actress. The bikini along with Minissha’s perfect shape worked wonders in the beaches of Mauritius. To be released this Id on Wednesday, 1st October, ‘Kidnap’ is out to set another milestone for budding actor Imran Khan. The character Imran plays in the film is a far cry from his role in ‘Jaane Tu…’. The film has Imran playing a kidnapper and instead of hush-hush romance between the hero and the heroine, it essentially traces the complex relation between a kidnapper and his victim.
Imraan and Minissha displayed great chemistry on-screen and off-screen. The duo got along like a house on fire from the first day of the shoot. For one shot of the film, Imran suggested that he practice a knife stunt with Minissha before the actual shoot. Minissha readily agreed and even bruised her fingers with the knife while rehearsing. The efforts paid and resulted in a bone-chilling take in the end. Later, Minissha kept chiding Imran about her injury saying that he hurt her only to avenge his loss in a card game they played on the sets!
Commenting on how the sensational newcomer of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Imran Khan, got signed up for the project, writer Shivani Bhathija reveals exclusively, “A friend had seen Imran at Aamir Khan Productions’ office and said he looked interesting. ‘Interesting’ is what we needed for Kabir so I mentioned his name to Sanjay (Gadhvi). Sanjay saw Imran and called me immediately to say that we had found Kabir.”
Elaborating on her first reaction on seeing Imran, Bathija adds, “I met Imran first at his house when Sanjay (Gadhvi) and I went to give him a narration. He was exactly what I had in mind when I wrote the character of Kabir four years before setting eyes on him. Kidnap was destined for Imran.”
Remarks director Sanjay Gadhvi, “I am proud of Shibani because she wrote the script of Kidnap even before she worked on Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna and Fanaa. This is really one of her initial scripts. It so happened that these films released before and we started making Kidnap only last year. As for Imran, I signed him much before the release of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. So when the latter became a hit and everyone went gaga over Imran, I said this is just the beginning….wait till you see him in Kidnap!”
