After much guessing, refusing, smiling and shying, the truth has finally slipped out of the Kapoor prince and promising debutant Ranbir, who admitted in an interview that he has been dating an equally ravishing and promising Deepika Padukone for past couple of weeks.

These new kids in the tinsel town have constantly been in news for their love-life. Ranbir has been linked to Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone has been linked to Yuvraj apart from their linkups with each-other. Now, Ranbir has declared that both of them had serious liking for each other and fell in love on the sets of Siddharth Anand’s ‘Bachna Ae Haseenon’ in Australia and thereafter shooting for the Pepsi ad together.

So this confirms the rumours that, Ranbir was overheard telling Deepika, “I love you” while the two were backstage during the 53rd Annual Filmfare Awards ceremony and Deepika had whispered shyly “I love you too”.

Also that evening, at an after awards party by Farah Aqeel Khan, Kapoor and Padukone were together the whole night holding hands and canoodling.

As for now, the couple has no plans to get married and are not even on a spree to sign movies together. Career is what has taken the top priority for both the actors.

Salman Khan and his shirtless avatar have become almost inseparable by now. And it was exactly this avatar of his that the kids got to see on the sets ‘Amul Star Voice of India Chhote Ustad’. First, Sallu Bhai swept the crowd as he stepped onto the stage with his hit song ‘Hai Rama Rama Ho’ from the film, ‘Lucky’. He also danced with the Chhote Ustad’s contestants, Aishwarya, Anvesha and Prakriti. And when the kids requsted him to let them have a look at his well-toned bod, Salman promptly obliged and removed his shirt in the true ‘Salman-i-shtyle’ singing to the tune of his hit song ‘O, O Jaane Jaana’. He flexed his muscles and drove the audience wild.

“We all, including the audience went crazy when he took off his shirt. This was the best episodic shoot I have ever experience; it was filled with fun”, said the Chhote Ustad contestant, Aishwarya who has been a big fan of Salman Khan since her childhood.

However, this was not all. The bad-boy-with-the-golden-heart also showed the kids his humane side as he donated around five lakh rupees for the aid of one cancer-afflicted child. What’s more, the actor even let his creative urge take over, as he painted a canvas right on the sets. It was certainly a triple treat for the kids, who just couldn’t get enough of the actor.

They made it public this Wednesday when they placed half-a-page advertisement in a marathi newspaper ‘Saamna’ wishing Bal Thackeray on his birthday by Mr Sanjay Dutt and Manyata Dutt. Media is all abuzz with the news that Sanjay and Manyata had tied the knot on October 19, 2006 and that Dutt has her name tattooed on his body.

However, sources close to Dutts say that these are all rumours and that it was Manyata and not Sanjay who is away in Hyderabad shooting, who personally vetted the advertisement before it was sent to print

What is undeniable, however, is that the lady is at present completely in charge of Sanjay’s life and his household and that his sisters, Priya and Namrata and daughter Trishala are not particularly enamoured of her. Recently, one of Sanjay’s close friends points out, Manyata insisted on having the house she shares with Sanjay painted in pink, a fact that did not go down well with the rest of his family. Well, his family may not be in a mood to accept her, but tis true that Manyata has stood by Sanjay through his thick and thin and that Sanjay is completely in love with the lady.

Saif Ali Khan is rocking these days, both professionally and personally. With the name of her lady love, Kareena Kapoor, tattooed on his hand (The tattoo goes Kareena in Devanagri script), Chhote Nawab has other new ventures on too. After hotting up the stage in Capital and down South in Bangalore, he has performed live at the Andheri Sports Complex on Sunday with India Rock and Roll Band, ‘Parikrama’. Saif had developed a passion for guitar and rock music at an early age of 13 when he was at the boarding school in the UK.

All the Saif-Parikrama concerts are being held in Jan and Feb 2008. Saif says, “I’ll rehearse in Alibaug. We’ll play in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore. My shootings won’t be affected because I’ll be rehearsing on the weekends. This is something I want to do. It gives me a great high to be on the stage playing and singing.”
